Philadelphia Treasures

Hello it's been awhile! I've been busy and have so much to share with everyone. Today for a blog post I decided to pick a spot that I love and share it with you all.

One of my favorite go to treasures of Philadelphia, is called Philly Magic Gardens

The place is truly magical, since the moment I first stepped into the building I was enthralled and in love and I ALWAYS enjoy bringing my guest and friends here. I savor the moments while watching their expression of awe and wonderment take place when they get that first look after they finally step thru the doors and out into the gardens. As they look around taking in all the glass that glitters and glistens when the sun hits it just right, its clear to see that magic does happen here.

To find out more about this place, please click on the link provided above. This concludes my little personal review, I highly recommend you all to check it out if you ever find yourselves in the area for a fun trip, that could easily be turned into a date if you're with a special someone.

*Any events they have are always worth attending, good wholesome crafts and fun usually apply during some events!

Red Meat

Being busy with work means I have little time to cook, but when I do cook I'm happy/proud to say that I like to experiment. Buying fresh meat and having some new salt made me want to grill some meat for a quick lunch before heading out to run errands again.

  • For this quick lunch I used thin cut slices of Beef Tenderloin, Rosemary, and Green Tea Ginger Salt (From :green aisle grocery) took less then 10 minutes to prepare and cook.

Sadly I cant tell you the measurements because I didn't measure anything, mostly eyed it by using a pinch of salt now again for the cuts, and just pressed the rosemary onto the beef until it stuck. Next time I make this again I hope to do  measurements so I can share this with friends/family.

Either way it was totally delicious and turned out much better then I thought it would, really made me want to cook and bake more too. When I have more time, I would really like to share some recipes with you all, I make a mean panna cotta; or so I've been told. Ha.

Till next time ~ Skraps-Inc

Lazy Day at the Beach

Beach days are the best, even if the weather is a bit on the cool side. Being able to just sit on the warm sand, relax, and enjoy the calming sounds of the ocean with friends is therapy in itself.
