Red Meat

Being busy with work means I have little time to cook, but when I do cook I'm happy/proud to say that I like to experiment. Buying fresh meat and having some new salt made me want to grill some meat for a quick lunch before heading out to run errands again.

  • For this quick lunch I used thin cut slices of Beef Tenderloin, Rosemary, and Green Tea Ginger Salt (From :green aisle grocery) took less then 10 minutes to prepare and cook. 

Sadly I cant tell you the measurements because I didn't measure anything, mostly eyed it by using a pinch of salt now again for the cuts, and just pressed the rosemary onto the beef until it stuck. Next time I make this again I hope to do  measurements so I can share this with friends/family. 

Either way it was totally delicious and turned out much better then I thought it would, really made me want to cook and bake more too. When I have more time, I would really like to share some recipes with you all, I make a mean panna cotta; or so I've been told. Ha.

Beach days are the best, even if the weather is a bit on the cool side. Being able to just sit on the warm sand, relax, and enjoy the calming sounds of the ocean with friends is therapy in itself.

Under the Texas Sky

Above the clouds. . .


Around the beginning of June I was very lucky to be able to see my family after being apart for two years. We decided to meet up in San Antonio Texas, and reunite under a warm sun with many festivities and food to celebrate the reunion. We secured a wonderful hotel upon the river walk and enjoyed many days just lounging, walking next to the river and catching up.

I'm so happy to capture many moments from those days and nights. . .

Taste of Spring

This month, I have become a huge fan of 
  • Fresh ingredients
  • Lots of green
  • Colorful desserts
  • Fresh Fruit smoothies
  • Light dinners
  • Floral/Fruit Cocktails
My jobs are very demanding; so much that I have changed my eating habits quite a lot, I'm not going to lie and say I eat like this 100% of the time because I don't, but I have cut back a-lot and that is a right step into the direction I want to go with. It's been good for my body, I've lost weight I feel healthier and I eat much better portions. 

The best part about it is that I feel  ~ WONDERFUL.
